Is Excellent Careers Legit? An Honest Review for 2026

About Excellent Careers 18 May 2026 4 min read

If you have landed on this page you have probably already done some homework, found Excellent Careers and want to know whether we are a real training provider before you spend any time or money. That is a sensible question to ask and we welcome it.

Here is the honest answer up front:

Yes, Excellent Careers is a real, registered career training provider. We operate from the UK and the UAE, and we run nine industry led training programmes each paired with a UK work placement. The rest of this article explains exactly who we are, what is and is not included, and how to verify everything we say independently.

Who Excellent Careers actually is

Excellent Careers is operated by Excellent Careers LLC, a company incorporated and licensed in the United Arab Emirates. Our registered office is in Sharjah Media City (SHAMS), Sharjah, UAE. We also maintain a UK correspondence office at 24/25, The Shard, 32 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9SG.

You can read our full company information on the Terms and Conditions page, which is the kind of detail any legitimate training provider should publish openly.

What you actually get

An Excellent Careers programme is not a video library. Every one of our nine programmes combines three things:

  • Self study online training, typically 100 hours of structured course material you complete at your own pace
  • A dedicated course tutor available for questions, marking and ongoing support throughout
  • A UK work placement of 12 weeks with a partner employer, written into your enrolment agreement

If a training company sells you only the first of those three, they are selling you a course, not a route into a career. Real placement experience is what gets a CV past the "no experience required" filter.

The programmes we actually deliver

You can review every programme in detail on the Programmes page. Briefly:

Where a programme is aligned to a specific industry exam (UK mortgage advice qualification, recognised cyber security) we say so explicitly. Where a programme is industry recognised without a specific awarding body, we say that too. We do not invent accreditations.

The questions a legitimate training provider should answer openly

If you are evaluating any UK training provider, including us, these are the questions you should ask and expect a clear answer to:

1. Is the work placement in writing?

For Excellent Careers, yes. The placement is part of your enrolment agreement.

2. What happens if I cannot complete the programme?

You can switch to a different programme within the first two weeks with no admin fee. After that, the cancellation terms in your enrolment agreement apply. The fee schedule is published on the Terms and Conditions page.

3. What is the actual cost?

Tuition varies by programme. Pay in full or in monthly instalments. Speak to an advisor for the exact figure for your chosen programme — we will give you the number, not vague language about "investment".

4. Are the reviews real?

We are a new training provider building our public review base. Reviews shown on the Excellent Careers Reviews page are from current learners and shared with consent. For independent verification, we are setting up profiles on the major review platforms; once available, the reviews page will link out to them so you can verify the source.

5. Will you guarantee me a job?

No serious training provider can guarantee a job, because hiring depends on the employer, your interview performance and the market. We guarantee a work placement, the training, the mentorship and warm introductions to our hiring network. The job itself is your decision and the employer's. Any company that "guarantees a job" is overselling.

What is not included — the honest caveats

  • The exam fee is not included in the Mortgage Advisor programme cost. You pay that directly to the awarding body.
  • The exam fee is not included in the Cyber Security programme cost.
  • Visa sponsorship is not part of our placement service. UK work placements require UK right to work eligibility.
  • Training is delivered in English. We do not currently support other languages.
