No. Our programmes are designed for career changers and beginners as well as those with some background. Each programme starts with foundations and accelerates as you build confidence.
The online course is approximately 100 hours, which most learners complete in 10 to 16 weeks alongside work and family commitments. Programme-specific industry mentorship may follow or run alongside the online training.
Excellent Careers engages and pays an industry professional to supervise practical training exercises, provide feedback and help learners apply course knowledge. It is not employment, recruitment or an introduction to a vacancy.
Tuition varies by programme. Most can be paid in full or in monthly instalments. Speak to an advisor for the exact figure for your chosen programme.
Our Mortgage Advisor programme aligns to the UK mortgage advice qualification (the awarding body) standards. Our Cyber Security programme is CPD accredited and aligns to the recognised cyber security syllabus. All other programmes are designed to be industry recognised and prepare you for the qualifications employers expect in the sector.
Training is a self study online course with a dedicated course tutor available for support throughout. Educational mentorship may be remote, hybrid or in person depending on the mentor and programme.
You keep access to the learning portal for the period stated in your enrolment agreement. Career-readiness support includes CV, portfolio and interview workshops. Interviews, job offers and employment are not guaranteed.
Yes. If your circumstances change within the first two weeks you can switch to a different programme with no admin fee.
Online training is open to international learners. The available format of mentor-led training may depend on the programme, location and operational requirements.
