Cookies Policy

Last updated: January 2026

This page explains what cookies we use on the Excellent Careers website, what they do and how you can control them.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies let sites remember your preferences, keep you logged in and measure traffic.

2. Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary: session and CSRF tokens that keep the site working. Cannot be disabled.
  • Preferences: remembers things like dismissed banners and your last viewed programme.
  • Analytics: anonymised page view counts so we can improve content. We do not use personally identifying analytics cookies.
  • Marketing: only set if you accept marketing cookies in our banner. Used for limited remarketing on platforms like LinkedIn and Meta.

3. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode that does not retain cookies after the session ends. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break key functionality such as form submissions.

4. Third party cookies

Embedded content (such as videos or maps from third party providers) may set their own cookies. We disclose the providers we use in our privacy policy.

5. Changes

Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised date.
